Sonic Arcade

Sonic Arcade is a digital playground that features three play-to-earn games initially — Plinko, Mines, and Wheel — each offering points for our airdrop.

As Sonic Arcade operates on the new Sonic testnet, it's free and lets you play with testnet tokens. The platform is built with help from our friends at WINR Protocol.

Get Started

Visit Sonic Arcade and follow these steps:

  1. Connect your wallet and add the Sonic testnet with the provided button. If that doesn’t work, add the network manually.

  2. Claim your free $TOKEN by clicking on Get some $TOKEN and verify using your X account.

You need $TOKEN to play, and each game costs 1 $TOKEN. You can claim 420 of them for free weekly. Note that $TOKEN has no monetary value — it's just for playing games on Sonic Arcade.

Each point is represented as 1x, e.g. 5x equals 5 points. Like tickets at a physical arcade, these are separate from your $TOKEN balance and are for the airdrop only; they cannot be used to play more games.

Every game is based on luck, thanks to a verifiable random function (VRF) that ensures everyone has a fair chance of winning or losing.

You can play each game up to 20 times daily.

Sonic Airdrop Dashboard

The Sonic Airdrop Dashboard enables you to track how many points you’ve won on Sonic Arcade and refer your friends.

It features a leaderboard on which you can compare your progress with other players in the Sonic community, and you can generate a referral link to invite your friends and get 10% of the points they earn!

Plinko

In Plinko, you drop a ball from the top onto a board, and it bounces randomly until landing in one of several slots at the bottom, each offering different rewards.

  1. Choose row amount More rows offer higher potential rewards but also raise the likelihood of receiving no reward.

  2. Choose play count If you choose more than 1 ball, their total value adds up to 1. So, if you play with 4 balls, each ball is worth 0.25.

For example, if 3 balls land on 0x and 1 ball lands on 1x, you'll earn 0.25 points because the ball that landed on 1x only gives you 0.25 of the points.

In the example below, we played with 10 rows and 4 balls. As shown in the top-right corner, 2 balls earned no points, and the other 2 landed on 1x to earn 0.25 points each for a total of 0.5 points.

Mines

In Mines, your goal is to find runes on a grid without hitting the mines. Each square can either contain a rune or contain a mine.

  1. Choose mine amount The more mines you choose, the more points you’ll get for each rune you find on the grid.

  2. Click on squares If you find a rune, you can keep clicking to find more and increase your reward or end the game and redeem your points by clicking the green button.

In the example below, we played with 5 mines on the grid and found 4 runes. At this stage, we could either redeem our 2.55 points and end the game or keep playing.

Wheel

In Wheel, you select a reward amount and spin the wheel to see if it lands in your favor.

  1. Choose bet amount A bigger bet means a higher reward but lower odds of winning, and each bet corresponds to a color on the wheel. For example, betting 6x means the wheel must land on orange for you to win.

  2. Spin the wheel Play and see if the wheel lands on your bet.

In the example below, we chose 3x as our bet amount, but unfortunately, the wheel landed on 2x.

Provably Fair

Sonic Arcade has no tampering, proven on-chain.

Verifiable random functions (VRFs) are used to generate random numbers for games on Sonic Arcade, provided by the oracle service, Supra Oracles.

  1. Players start the game by approving a transaction.

  2. The game's smart contract then requests a random number from the Supra Oracles smart contract.

  3. Supra Oracles generates an off-chain seed using distributed VRF technology.

  4. Once Supra Oracles responds, Sonic Arcade contract initiates the "points" transaction for the bet.
